The music of Latin America has long been some of the world's most beloved, whether Brazilian, Bosa Nova, Argentian tango, Cuban bolero, or irresistible songs from Chile, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela.

The inspiration behind this recording is the rich musical tradition that comes from Venezuela. As a Venezuelan artist, I feel called to expose audiences to the beautiful music from my homeland and to bring to it my experience as a jazz musician.

Welcome to the Venezuela Latin American Songbook Volume 2 Project.

Together, we will explore the beauty and depth of the music of Venezuela through a new creative lens. In the process, I will be creating a new album with my good friends and collaborators, Adam Cruz and Ruben Rogers.

We will also be interviewing musicians and listeners alike to share how they, too, have been inspired by the rich tradition found in the music of Venezuela.
