About This Offer

Welcome to the ArtistShare Bronze Participant Offer. By participating at the Bronze level you will be playing an integral part in the creation of my new album, imagining the house band aboard the Alcoa steamships in the 1950s. Along with being credited in the artwork of the final CD, you will receive exclusive access to every aspect of this project as it unfolds - from my research and the early stages of the music we’ll record, through rehearsals with the band, behind the scenes looks at our recording sessions, and monthly video project updates as we get going.

I’m excited to share with you a narrated listening guide to some of the recordings that have inspired me the most - both in regards to this album, but also the records that got me going on trombone in the first place, brought me to New Orleans, or are simply in heavy rotation around my house.

I’m also happy to provide a downloadable lead sheet for a song of your choosing from the album. I would love to hear how your band approaches the music, let’s spread it around!

Once the project wraps up and we have the CDs in hand, it will be my pleasure to deliver a signed and numbered copy to you!

As we work on this project together, I’m looking forward to sharing my creative process with you through exclusive videos, photos, downloads of the charts and music, and of course, keeping everybody updated on the status of the album as we get into rehearsals, recording, and post production, all made possible by your generous support!
