About This Offer

Recorded with Bob Brookmeyer and the Ed Partyka Jazz Orchestra (Madly Loving You) on Challenge Records, I wrote "Anthem" as a birthday gift for Bob Brookmeyer.  It obviously featured Bob on valve trombone, and quite is different from my other works in that the orchestra had French horns and tuba. I've included a couple of early sketches that I found, and have made a video of me discussing the composition of this work.
