Welcome to the ArtistShare® Bronze participant package for the ”Afterburn” project that is the follow up from the ”Brilliance” recording that has received excellent critical acclaim in many countries. The Bronze package is designed for the person who wants to get a unique insight into the process of creating a new recording project with everything that involves, plus that little extra personalized material as well as to help contribute to the funding of the record in a highly personalized way. Here you will be able to follow the process of composing the music that will make up the ”Afterburn” recording as it evolves, the honest successes and frustrations of writing and coming up with the music, how it links from the earlier ”Brilliance” recording and elaborations on how to perform it and improvise with it. The whole concept of this music and ideas behind will be open to explore, as well as interesting practical experiences that goes into the process.

I am the only european artist at ArtistShare at this point and I will share my experiences maintaining a workschedule in a international jazz environment, touring, recording, musicians, photos. Through audio, video and journals I will go into rehearsal situations, arranging the music, studio session, commentaries from interesting people involved in the music and the CD design process. I will share my reflections on the development of the music, how it metamorphoses into the whole final production and photogalleries that depicts the different stages of the project.

It will culminate in the final studio session, mixing and mastering session then production and you will see the whole thing happen.

As a Bronze participant you will have access to a bi-monthly video where I will keep you specifically up to date with whats going on in the project. Once the ”Afterburn” CD is complete you will receive it as a signed and personalized limited copy # 9-28/2000 with you credited as a Bronze participant on the artwork accompanied by my handwritten letter of thank you for your important participation. Until the final ”Afterburn” CD reaches you, you will have 3 of my pre-existing CDs, signed and personalized to enjoy, together with 2 downloadable live recordings from Sweden and New York.
