We are honored to announce a new partnership between ArtistShare and the historic Newport Jazz Festival®. The Newport Jazz Festival®, founded by George Wein, is the most celebrated jazz event in the world.  It has become a model for nearly every other music festival since its debut in 1954. 

As the Newport Jazz Festival® continues to be an important part of the jazz tradition, ArtistShare will be powering fan-funded projects which will allow fans to follow the creative experience as jazz legends pass the torch to a younger generation of musicians. Some of the most important recordings in American music history have been made at Newport such as Miles and Monk at Newport, Duke Ellington's Diminuendo and Crescendo in Blue and Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday at Newport. None of these recordings would exist if it weren't for the vision and integrity of everyone involved in the Festival throughout the years. 

It is an honor of the highest degree to be able to now bring to you the experience of the Newport Jazz Festival and to invite you play an important role in coming years.
