About This Offer Payback, Pier Rats, Octave Deprivation
With his guidance, work on three Tom Davis compositions written with the Intemediate/Advanced ensemble in mind. An Intermediate/Advanced Course Participant will immediately receive access to downloadable Scores/Parts of three, Tom Davis compositions (selected by the Artist) for use with your ensemble. To aid you in the rehearsal process, Tom will provide an audio interview on the composition, an audio file of the composition, and a suggested syllabus for the works to be rehearsed over a semester.

As you work with your group on the compositions, enhance your Participant Offer with the complete Tom Davis Project Experience, which will be delivered to you over the course of the project. The Project Experience will focus on Tom’s compositional process as well as his rehearsal techniques. As Tom shares the development of his newest work with all of his participants, you will receive written sketches of his work in progress along with some developmental audio to mark the progress of the work. You will be able to participate in Q & A sessions and and listen to several interviews on the compositional process as a whole. In addition, Tom will be offering rehearsal tips and technique tips throughout the project year, several interviews, Q & A sessions, worksheets, exercises, and rehearsal recordings that allow you to practice along with pre-recorded music - something beneficial to both the educator and the student. It’s a tremendous opportunity to work with such a talented and experienced composer and educator.

Finally, throughout the Tom Davis Project experience, you will be receiving rehearsal advice specific to the compositions purchased including written rehearsal guidelines for the compositions, audio lecture/demos on improvisation, sectional studies, sample solos and practice tracks for your musicians use.
