The ArtistShare® Data Lords Executive Producer Participant is the most significant contributor to this recording and will be an integral part of the creation of the most earnest project I’ve produced to date, a two-CD set. The Executive Producer’s role is invaluable to the making of this recording.
As Executive Producer, you will be invited to a studio session of your choosing (August 30th - September 2, 2019). I will look forward to taking you to dinner in New York as well. I will also enjoy taking you on a Central Park experience, a nature walk (hopefully during migration), to experience the place in the city that keeps me connected to the natural world. I will personally keep you updated throughout the project, and I look forward to creating a beautiful little framable manuscript of a passage of your choosing, of course signed directly to you.
You’ll also become of member of Maria’s “Reclaim Your Brain” Club, where together, all members commit to turning off our devices for swaths of time, leaving more space for our inspiration and ideas to arise. Maria will create little challenges and inspirational ideas throughout the project for club members to consider trying. "Reclaim Your Brain” Club members are encouraged submit musings, discoveries, human connections — anything you've thought, experienced or created that you feel arose from reclaiming some your inner space. Submissions can be made via PDF, video or audio for private viewing by other "Reclaim Your Brain" Club members.
You will also receive extraordinary art pieces by two true masters connected to this project. Firstly, a signed print taken from the original album artwork to be created by world-renowned artist, Aaron Horkey. Secondly, two hand-picked wood fired tea cups by world-renowned ceramicist, Jack Troy.
I am eternally grateful to whomever will join me as Executive Producer of this very large project. My hopes for this album are great. In addition to my obvious biggest wishes for the music, I also have hopes that this album will inspire people to ask the questions of those who are amassing information about us and are exerting power over us. These are questions that we would only know to ask if we stay well-connected to the world that is our source.
