Apr 27 2016 - New Chip Wilson NOLA Project Launched!
Join Chip Wilson on his fan-funded ArtistShare project, NOLA, and be the first to be a part of his musical journey as he shares what it’s like to live and play music in New Orleans.
Chip has lived in New Orleans for over twenty years where the music of New Orleans, southern and blues music, has been extremely influential. His interpretations come from listening to everything from the 1920s, to the Mardi Gras Indian recordings of the 1970s and the continual exposure to the local music scene.
NOLA offers a shared experience of Chip’s time playing in the new recording studio at The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music with friends as he started a new musical journey.
As a participant, you will have access to exclusive videos, photos, Chip’s sketches, and performances from New Orleans and the Musicians’ Village. You could even collaborate with Chip to write a song. Throughout the project, he will share stories about his music and his songwriting process.
