About This Offer

This is a version of Maria’s, My Lament, arranged by the great vocal arranger, Paris Rutherford, for vocal ensemble and rhythm section. The lyrics were written by the wonderful Dave Castle and given the alternate title, "Cry to the Stars." There is space for piano solo and a written out female solo.

In addition to a complete set of score and parts in PDF format you will also receive a downloadable interview with Paris and an MP3 recording of the arrangement done by the University of North Texas Jazz Singers under Paris’ direction. The interview with Paris discusses this arrangement specifically, but also addresses his approach to arranging in general as well as detailed rehearsal tips and techniques.
