ArtistShare has developed strategic partnerships with many of the major online distribution outlets, including:

  • iTunes
  • Rhapsody
  • eMusic
  • MusicNet
  • Napster
  • Snowcap
  • TouchTunes
  • T-Mobile
  • Verizon Wireless
  • Amazon.com's standard CD listing pages
  • Amazon.com's digital music store
  • and roughly 300 additional digital distribution services (including Ringtone services).

For an approved ArtistShare release, upon receiving written permission from the artist allowing ArtistShare to be their sole digital distribution representative (this is required by all of the services to avoid duplication), ArtistShare will submit the album to all 300+ of our digital distribution partners for a processing fee of $35/CD/year. ArtistShare will can also submit the album to Amazon.com's CD listing pages, as well as the digital music store for $35/CD/year. We have negotiated our agreements as a “Label” so all ArtistShare artists receive equal treatment and placement priority on these services. All existing ArtistShare contract terms will apply including the copyright ownership of work (you own your music) and ArtistShare receives 15% sales commission/support fee from the proceeds.

Since ArtistShare has negotiated with the services collectively we are also able to officially “release” music and video at our discretion. This could be a really great opportunity to release live CDs/concerts, special projects, video and even singles. The downside of this is of course the anonymous sale aspect (these services do not reveal the contact information of the buyer) but we are working on some creative solutions for this as well. So needless to say, the goal here is to further develop relationships with the fans. Once payments are received from our digital partners they will be posted to your sales reports automatically.
