Commissioned by Christophe AsselineauThis is a slow piece that features guitar and piano. It has an unusual solo section in the middle that creates a bi-tonal landscape. It requires an improviser (either guitar or piano) who is willing to think outside of traditional jazz language--someone who thinks coloristically. It has a guitar solo at the end too that is more rock oriented. It benefits from a guitar player that is comfortable using effects. The piece is about 10 minutes in length. It is largely rubato, so it requires a conductor with some skill. Doubles are: Reed 1–SopranoReed 2–Clarinet and FluteReed 3–TenorReed 4–ClarinetReed 5–Bass ClarinetTO SEE A FULL LIST OF SCORES & PARTS, CLICK HERE TO SEE A FULL LIST OF AVAILABLE STUDY SCORES, CLICK HERE
