Dog Play was originally composed for the NeuHat Ensemble which is a slightly different instrumentation. It includes string quartet etc,. I wanted to make it more available and I wanted ENJO to perform and record it. The Premiere was at the Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles in April 2009.
