REVIEW:
Let me commence by stating that this was a delectable soujourn into the land of bebop & ooh-blah-dee. Right away, I relegate my readers to the tribute to ''Thad'' with their play on words, ''Thad's All.''

This should convince any reader that this combined undertaking into the soul of jazz, is a purvue which the group can claim as their own. This is exemplified by a total & spontaneous musical energy & interplay between these (6) prodigious artists. Convergence indeed!! All their renderings are well played reflecting absolutely no aesthetic restlessness. More to the point, the group exerts complete musical control throughout the entire project, taking jazz far into the direction of sheer & utterly confident harmonic liberation. May I be colloquial & say: These cats are bad M____R F_____G musicians. It's as simple as that!! Famed Bobby Shew was quite exact in his mini-review of the disc saying: ''Folks, it just doesn't get any better than this.''
