Welcome to the Illuminator Participant Offer. As an Illuminator Participant, you will be playing an integral part in the creation of this new work. Along with being credited on the artwork/booklet of the final recording, you will receive exclusive access to every aspect of this project.
One reason our organization is named LYNX is for the eyes of the lynx cat, which are highly reflective. The cat’s name is derived from the Indo-European root word "leuk", which means light. LYNX’S goal is to shed light on important voices and beautiful repertoire through song. As an Illuminator participant, you are one of three individuals helping us shine a light on the words and experiences of nonspeaking individuals and share them with the world.
You will receive a narrated listening guide to the recordings that have inspired us the most. You will also receive a song advocate credit, a private virtual concert, and a LYNX artist’s original score from a recording session.
As part of this offer, you will receive The Amplify Anthology Vol. 1, a sheet music publication containing seventeen of the songs that appear in this album. This anthology is being published by NewMusicShelf and will be released during the summer of 2021. This beautiful book will contain bios of all the writers and composers, sheet music in the original keys, and a foreword by 2017 writer, Rithik Sinhasan.
As we take this artistic journey together, we will be sharing our creative process with you through exclusive videos, audio excerpts, downloads, photos, and news to keep you up to date on the status and progress of this work, made possible by you.
