Jul 24 2010 - Fan-funded compositions premiered
7/24/2010 - Maria Schneider premiered her latest fan-funded composition "Lembrança" for packed houses at the infamous Birdland Jazz club in NYC this week. The composition was the culmination of her 2010 Commission Project where fans were able to follow the creative process of the writing of the piece from beginning to end, including exclusive footage of the premier at Birdland for those who could not attend.
