ArtistShare has launched a fan-funded service specifically tailored for songwriters and the creation of new songs.  ArtistShare for songwriters officially launched this week with featured artists Chris Barron of the Spin Doctors,  Tony Harnell of the multi-platinum Hard Rock band TNT, ArtistShare's very own Kate Schutt and SongWriters Hall of Fame up and coming songstress Abby Bernstein. 

ArtistShare for Songwriters allows fans to show appreciation for their favorite songwriters by participating in the creation of new songs in exchange for access to the creative process and LTD Edition Enhanced CDs which contain the first recorded version of the newly created song as well as additional documentary style video, audio and downloads from the project. 

ArtistShare for songwriters has already seen great industry support from BMI and offers pre-approved membership and a discounted rate for all BMI members.
